Every Chelsea student receives financial aid. The difference between tuition and the actual cost of a Chelsea education is already provided for by our benefactors. More than 32% of Chelsea families receive financial aid in the form of tuition assistance, a rate 10% higher than the national average for independent schools.
Recognizing that not all families can afford to pay the full tuition, Chelsea Academy makes available some financial aid on a need basis. Our financial aid awards are generous, but limited. For this reason, it is strongly suggested that financial aid applications be submitted no later than March 1. Families who complete applications and submit the financial aid application by February 14, will receive award notification by February 21.
In order to ensure privacy, accuracy, and fairness in the financial aid application process, all applications are managed by FACTS, an independent company that provides grant and aid assessment services for schools. Although FACTS conducts financial need analysis and makes recommendations for the allocation of financial aid, all award decisions are made by Chelsea Academy.
Families seeking financial assistance should complete and submit a Grant and Aid Application along with the necessary supporting documentation and the $35 fee.
