House Competition Begins with Poetry Recitation
For the tenth year in a row, Chelsea kicked off its house competitions with a poetry recitation. Works by Hopkins, Frost, and Tennyson were cheered by students and faculty as two students from each house, one from the lower or middle school and one from the upper school, recited their summer poems to the enthusiastic crowd. Participants for the competition were selected last week during preliminary recitations in which every student in the school recited for his or her house.
Congratulations to the winning House this year – Colet.
