Nancy Thomas

Nancy is new to Virginia and to Chelsea Academy. After homeschooling her nine children she realized the importance of providing a solid foundation in mathematics to K-8 students, in preparation for successful learning in high school and beyond. After sending seven kids off to college, she began the search for how to continue to help younger students reach their potential in math.To that end, Nancy bought a tutoring center in Portland, Maine in 2020.  As her children became adults and began settling in the Mid-Atlantic region, it became apparent that Virginia and Chelsea Academy were calling her family to Front Royal. She moved to the area in the summer of ‘21 with her husband and two youngest children who now attend Chelsea Academy.
