Annie Heisler

Anne Heisler grew up in Front Royal, Virginia, where she was homeschooled, along with attending courses at Classical Cottage School in Winchester. Anne is the 4th of 9 children. Anne worked for her Dad’s hardwood floor company for a year before enrolling at Christendom College. Anne completed Christendom’s teaching practicum under the tutelage of Mrs. McShurley in the 4th and 5th grades at Chelsea, where her desire to be a Chelsea teacher was fostered. She graduated from Christendom College in May of 2022 with a Bachelor’s Degree in English Language and Literature. Upon graduation, Anne went on a mission year to teach in the underserved community of The Bronx. During this year she co-taught in a kindergarten classroom in a public charter school and instructed 4th graders in catechism in the school’s after-school program. Heisler is grateful for the community she grew up in and is excited to teach the 6th grade scholars at Chelsea.
