School Year Completed
May 28 – Last Day of School. After the unprecedented closure of schools throughout the commonwealth, Chelsea Academy successfully completed the school year on schedule. The Chelsea faculty’s response to the governor’s order to close schools was extraordinary. While public schools in the region took at least a month to offer online classes, Chelsea was online within a week and all Chelsea students were attending virtual classes. Every Chelsea student completed each of his or her classes! Upper school students continued their studies with standard grading (A, B, C, etc.), and seniors presented their Senior Theses online with question and answer sessions with faculty, parents, and friends.
