Clubs provide opportunities for students to pursue interests outside of their classes and to get to know other students and their teachers in a more informal setting. Most clubs meet during a 45-minute break period on Thursday mornings.

Club offerings depend on faculty and student interests. Many clubs meet for just one semester, while others meet throughout the year. Students are encouraged to take the initiative to form clubs that interest other students and contribute to enhancing the life of the school. Chelsea clubs have included Chess, Drama, Science, Math, Water Color Painting, Needlework, Short Story Writing, Yearbook and Photography, Russian, Newspaper, Swing Dance, and 3-D Model Making.
