Witness for the Prosecution A Great Success
The Chelsea Players had a great time performing Agatha Christie’s courtroom drama, Witness for the Prosecution, on Friday and Saturday nights! We also had the pleasure of hosting this year’s inaugural Patrons of the Arts reception before the opening night performance. The reception was well-attended, and we would like to thank this year’s patrons so much for their generous support.
The play opened with Leonard Vole (played by Alec S.) approaching Mr. Mayhew (Andrew F.) and Sir Wilfried Robarts (Peter S.) because Vole thinks he is suspected for the murder of Miss Emily French and may be in need of legal advice. With a surprise ending that produced audible gasps in many unsuspecting audience members, Witness for the Prosecution was certainly a performance to remember. Thank you to all who came out to see the show!
